1. Incorrect task prioritisation
We all know the feeling: we put off certain projects because they seem less urgent, only to realise that they suddenly should have had top priority. Incorrect prioritisation leads to unnecessary stress and frantic, last-minute scrambles. Motion helps us prioritise tasks objectively and based on real deadlines, rather than following the "whoever shouts loudest" principle.
2. The daily grind
Between dentist appointments and yoga classes, task scheduling can quickly become emotional rather than rational. Motion helps us keep a cool head and work through our task list systematically, ensuring that personal appointments no longer disrupt our workload, but are harmoniously integrated instead.
3. Internal projects vs. client projects
Internal projects tend to slide down the priority list, especially when they don't have fixed deadlines. This often leads to vital development or optimisation work falling by the wayside. With Motion, we plan to integrate these tasks into our daily operations on an equal footing, enabling us to grow not just externally in the long term, but internally as well.
4. Work-life balance
It is a personal priority for me that our team is supported in the best possible way—not only during working hours, but also in their personal time. Motion is intended to help create a clear boundary between work and private life. The goal is for every team member to be able to close their laptop in the late afternoon with peace of mind, knowing that all tasks are managed and scheduled.
5. Emails, emails, emails
Nothing can disrupt your workflow quite like the constant ping of new emails or messages. In the flood of newsletters and requests, it is easy to lose track and waste valuable working time. With Motion, we have set fixed times for processing emails to ensure our team remains focused and can work productively without being constantly interrupted by incoming notifications.
6. Fixed lunch breaks at last
Especially on hectic days, lunch breaks tend to be skipped. To make sure our team stays healthy and energised even with a packed schedule, we have integrated lunch breaks as a fixed part of our daily Motion work routine. This not only boosts physical well-being, but also mental clarity and creativity.
It’s a test!

Integrating Motion is an exciting step for us at oha!, aimed not only at working more efficiently, but also with greater satisfaction. For the first phase, our timeframe is set to 1 month. We are eager to see the results and will gladly share our experiences after this initial, intensive testing phase. Who knows, maybe Motion could be a great fit for your team too?
P.S. If this post hadn’t been integrated as a task into my workday today, it probably would never have been written. Internal projects and all that 🙂 So, as you can see—things are already moving forward.
